CAMPS

Our children’s camp, affectionately known as “HackmaCamp”, is geared for young actors ages 7 to 13. This year, we are offering two sessions, a 2-week (July 15th to July 26th) and a 3-week camp (July 29th to August 17th). Both camps run Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm. Each camp provides campers with an introduction to the ins and outs of theater. Participants will spend their days rehearsing a show and will perform two shows for friends and family at the camp’s conclusion.

During their time at Hackmatack, campers will learn the show's music and choreography, memorize lines, help build sets and prepare the theater for the shows. Taught through a curriculum that emphasizes agency, self-expression, and theater education, the young actors will also get to know their fellow campers through fun theater-based activities and perhaps even meet a farm animal (or two!)
