Hackmatack Theatre Camp 2018

Drama Camp 5

Hello Hackma campers & families!

It is 2018 and I long to be back at Hackmatack. I hope you have been thinking about this summer's Hackma-camp, I know I have. I am excited to come back again this year as Children's Theatre Camp Director. I cannot wait to see all of you again, and hopefully meet some new friends as well!

I am excited to announce that we will be working on Disney's Alice in Wonderland, JR. this summer! Last year we had a blast discovering the characters of Treasure Island, and I am excited about all the new characters we will meet as we go through the looking glass.

My goal is for all campers to not only grow as actors and singers, but to grow in confidence, teamwork, and problem solving. We will not only work on creating a great show, but also work on growing our skills.

Please email me with any questions: gemppmusic@gmail.com.
I hope to see you back at Hackmatack!

Chris Gempp

Sarah is thrilled to be back for her sixth Summer at the theater! In the past, she has worked in the box office and played woodwinds in the orchestra pit for Les Miserables, The Music Man, Spamalot, West Side Story, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, On The Town, Once Upon a Mattress, and She Loves Me. Sarah has also played in the orchestra pit for the Rochester Opera House, Prescott Park Arts Festival, Schoolhouse Arts Center, Stages Youth Theater, University of Southern Maine, and several public schools. Sarah is entering her Senior year at USM, studying Music Education, where she has been president of the American Choral Director's Association, helped organize the Maine Middle School All-State Choir, and led rehearsal for the Southern Maine Children's Choir. Recently, she was able to share her love for working with children at the Eastern Division Conference for the National Association for Music Education. She enjoys singing with the Chamber Singers and taking voice lessons at USM. Sarah is eager to share her love of music and theater with the Hackma-campers!
